My Summer Orzo Salad is light, refreshing and perfect for any summer backyard or beach party. Great as a side dish or main dish. You can change it up and add any vegetable you like! It's delicious warm or cold. Ingredients:
Cutting Board Chefs knife Large bowl Large sauce pan Finely dice up the garlic, green, yellow, and orange peppers. Defrost your peas at room temperature Boil water and salt generously. Add the 16 oz. of orzo to the boiling water for about 7-9 minutes until the pasta is al dente. Drain all the water in colander and add pour into a large bowl. In a large bowl add the orzo, peppers, garlic, peas, chopped parsely and basil, olive oil, lemon zest, lemon juice and salt. Mix all ingredients until well incorporated together. Serve room temperature or cold.
