For those of you who have picky eaters when it comes to fish, Basa is a perfect choice. It is a delicious, sweet, mild, white fish. Basa is a very affordable fish too! You can find it for about $8.99 per lb. However, Flounder, Sole, and Cod will all cook up just as yummy! Just add a few basic spices and either pan sear, broil or bake it. Ingredients:
Non Stick skillet 2 large spatulas for flipping the fish to avoid breaking fillet Lightly drizzle canola oil on both sides of the Basa fillets. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, oregano, bread crumbs and parsley. Pre heat your non stick skillet with a little more canola oil on medium heat. Sear both sides for about 5 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy. Serve with your favorite vegetable or mesclun salad for a light and healthy dish!
