Shrimp is a blank canvas that can be transformed into so many versatile dishes. I created Cajun Shrimp because I love the smokey flavors you get from the paprika and cayenne pepper. It’s a light dish that packs a punch! Ingredients:
In a large bowl, mix shrimp, olive oil, salt, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, Hungarian paprika, and lemon zest until the shrimp is evenly coated. Cover the bowl and marinate in the refrigerator for a few hours. In a large skillet on medium heat, sear the shrimp for 4 to 5 minutes on both sides until caramel in color and shrimp gets crispy outer edges. The key is not to move the shrimp around until you flip it over to the other side. Finish up with a squeeze of lemon and serve with jasmine rice.
